Who is a good candidate
for All-on-X?
An ideal candidate for the full-arch dental implant procedure is someone who has lost most or all of their teeth and is seeking a stable, long-term solution. Generally, such candidates have sufficient bone density to support the implants, or may be able to undergo a bone graft if necessary. Candidates are generally in good overall health, with no uncontrolled chronic conditions such as diabetes or autoimmune disorders that could delay the healing process. Non-smokers, or those willing to quit smoking, tend to have more successful outcomes.
How is the All-on-Four technique planned and performed?
In the first stage, our Implantology team will use 3D imaging (CT scans) and digital models to diagnose and assess whether you are a candidate for implant placement. If the answer is yes, we will digitally plan the position and prosthetic design of the implants to minimize the margin of error during surgery and create a treatment plan tailored to each patient.
It will depend on the volume, available bone height, and the patient's overall health
Measurements will then be taken to create a temporary prosthesis, which will be used to support the implants placed during the full-arch surgery. This temporary prosthesis will be worn for at least 3 or 4 months until the dental implants have fully healed and the final hybrid prosthesis phase can begin.
Finally, maintenance is one of the most important phases of the entire treatment, which is carried out through daily care and regular oral hygiene checkups. The duration and quality of the entire treatment go hand in hand with follow-up and maintenance visits.
